Description

Woven Polyester Cable Pulling Tape, also known as mule tape or flat rope, is a high-strength, low-stretch solution for pulling cables through conduits or ducts. Made from 100% continuous filament polyester, this flat-woven tape is pre-lubricated, reducing friction and preventing damage to both cables and conduits during pulls.

With sequential footage markings, this tape allows for precise, measured cable installations. Lightweight and flexible, it can be easily blown through conduits and is conveniently packaged on heavy-duty black plastic reels for effortless handling and deployment on-site.

Features & Benefits

  • High Strength: Made from 100% woven polyester, the tape offers a tensile strength of up to 2,500 lbs., perfect for heavy-duty cable pulling.
  • Low Stretch: Minimal elongation ensures accurate cable placement and reduced risk of snapping during pulls.
  • Accurate Footage Markings: Sequential markings allow precise measurement and easy progress tracking during installation, reducing errors.
  • Pre-lubricated: The tape comes pre-lubricated to minimize friction, making it easier to pull cables through conduits and reducing wear on the tape and conduit walls.
  • Durability: Resistant to mildew, UV rays, and abrasion, ensuring longevity even in harsh outdoor or underground environments.

To prolong the life of your woven polyester cable pulling tape, store it in a cool, dry place to avoid exposure to moisture and UV light. Regularly inspect the tape for signs of wear, especially after pulling through conduits or ducts. If the tape becomes frayed or damaged, replace it immediately to avoid any performance issues during future cable installations. Ensure proper lubrication of the tape during use to reduce friction and extend its durability.
